once we finished up at the eagle's nest, we headed through the mountains to salzburg, austria. yet another beautiful place in this world. we were there for approximately 16 hours...which was a total bummer. we will definitely be going back!! so when one goes to salzburg, what do you do? absolutely! you rush around town and check out all the places they filmed the sound of music!!!! ha ha ha. in addition to checking out a few of those locations, we managed to tour around a little bit. now...onto the pics...

and this...is where mozart was born. his parents lived on the third floor and that's where he was born. the building was converted to a museum in 1880.

we found this little hill area with music, a beer truck and we just sat there. i don't even know what we did other than watch people and stare at the green, green grass.
this is such a fabulous place and must visit destination. next up...neuschwanstein castle in germany.
